I have coached and managed sports since 1984, spending time with various sports. Since 2000 I have increased my involvement in the administration of sport, serving on several state and National boards and committees to help the sport grow and change.
My true love and what I do best is working with people to help them improve themselves and the environments that they are in. I believe sport is sport and it is important to maintain this integrity as sport becomes more professional.
I have set up Triple i sports so that I can share my expertise and passion for creating performance cultures across sports and businesses.
Organisations are facing many challenges as the sporting fields continue to change. Some challenges facone organizations are:
- How to deliver meaningful and purposeful competitions
- How to engage, service and retain membership
- How to assist Clubs to deliver consistant and sustainable programs.
Having served on committees and boards at Club through to National level, I have seen these issues first hand and have networked across various sports to develop a broad perspective on these challenges.
To remain relevant, Triple i Sports believe it is important to maintain the integrity of your sport while meeting the evolving needs and values of your community.
For sports to remain viable now and in the future we rely more than ever on coaches to do a great job.
Coaches must develop positive relationships with athletes, parents and committees. In this modern environment coaches have to be innovative to find the best ways to engage, motivate and retain athletes while adhering to fundamental coaching principles that insure the learning of skills and success.
Coaches intrinsically coach because they they want to help others be the best they can be. They don't coach because they believe they are all-knowing, all mighty experts. However, coaches are often expected to be the experts across many areas and Triple i Sports can help you to find better ways to help coaches to be the best they can be.
There are a growing number of expectations placed on often volunteer committees. From compliance regulations, strategic plans, operational plans, effective governance, risk management, member protection, organizing coaches, volunteers and Teams: and then finding time to actually run the sport can be a challenge.
There are innovative ways to do things differently, to get better results whist maintaining integral values that sport is sport and that we do what we do because we love our sport.
Triple i Sports can help Clubs to navigate through the myriad of Club expectations and assist you to drive better outcomes for all involved.
